I have had Kendall Jenner’s claw-clip etched into my mind ever since this photo surfaced. So effortless, so nonchalant and yet so darn practical. I love that the placement of such a simple, non-event object makes me think so much. A claw-clip that you can literally purchase from the supermarket for $4.99, is the perfect outfit finisher for this double-denim ensemble. Genius. I love this type of styling. It’s life-styling and it keeps us guessing—Is this highly curated styling? Or did Kenny just simply let her hair down, attach a tortoise shell hair clip to her (Levi’s?) denim jacket and move on with her day? I don’t know the answer but what I do know is, the key to adding effortless personality is to first tweak what items you actually wear and update those first.
