My daughter is three and I only really felt myself in my body maybe last year. I really want to give her a sibling but the thought of feeling that your body is not yours/ you don't recognise it anymore is scary. it will happen but the thought of knowing how postpartum goes, is a hard hurdle to overcome to start all again!

Such a thoughtfully penned piece, thanks for this. As a first time mom to be at 40, 28 weeks along, it’s been wild - after all these years - to see my body changing so drastically. It feels so out my control, and it’s a bit scary what’s to come. I appreciate knowing at least that we aren’t alone in it.
