Yes there are lots of vintage chore jackets and vintage everything. I buy a lot of vintage / secondhand but it takes resources: Time and money to shop second/vintage. Time to research, time to have tailored then time to resell if it doesn’t work / cost / availability on sizing etc etc. does unfortunately factor in.

IMO something like a chore jacket, loafer or boat shoe isn’t really a ‘dupe’ because they existed before whoever currently made them popular, and they’ll exist after. That’s different than a direct knockoff or lookalike that has a similar pattern, placement of studs/stitching that is trying to fool the eye.
